Beyoncé hits the charts with ‘TEXAS HOLD ʼEM’
Beyoncé is currently taking the charts by storm globally with her new song ‘TEXAS HOLD ʼEM’: among others, the song is number 1 in the US, UK and Canada and number 4 in the German singles charts. The singer also made chart history by taking the single to No. 1 in the Hot Country Songs – a position that no black woman has achieved before.
Since its release, ‘TEXAS HOLD ʼEM’ has been streamed over 115 million times worldwide. In Germany, the song has already generated over 6 million streams, most recently over half a million daily streams. The track has also become the sound of a global viral dance challenge on TikTok.
The hit was written by Beyoncé, Brian Bates, Elizabeth Lowell Boland, Megan Bülow, Nathan Ferraro and Raphael Saadiq, the track was produced by Beyoncé, Raphael Saadiq, Nate Ferraro, Killah B, Hit-Boy, Stuart White and Mariel Gomerez.
Beyoncé released the single as part of a viral Super Bowl commercial on February 11, 2024 via Columbia Records. The accompanying album – announced as the second part of her RENAISSANCE trilogy – will be released on March 29, 2024.
Beyoncé is one of the most successful artists in the world and, in addition to 200 million records sold, she has also won the most Grammys of all time by a single person (32 Grammy Awards). Her seven albums have all reached number one in the American Billboard charts.
