Beyoncé’s ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ Tops German Airplay Charts

Beyoncé’s single ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM‘ secures the number one position on the German airplay charts this week with more than 2,143 plays. This marks ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ as her most successful radio single in Germany to date, surpassing the second-place achievement of ‘If I Were A Boy‘ in 2009.

‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ was released on February 12, 2024, and has since reached an estimated 4.8 billion people worldwide through radio. Additionally, the song has been streamed over 486 million times globally and sparked a viral TikTok challenge, with its own dance.

Recently, Beyoncé’s eighth studio album “COWBOY CARTER“, released on March 29 via Columbia Records, claimed the top spot on the official German album charts within a week of its release. On its first day, the album broke the Spotify record for most streams in a single day.

With ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’, Beyoncé became the first Black artist to achieve both the No. 1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and the Hot 100 chart with a country song. With over 200 million records sold and 32 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé is one of the most successful artists globally.
