German Artist Nina Chuba Launches Her Own Fortnite Island
Music history meets gaming revolution:
Nina Chuba, one of the most influential voices in the German music scene, is writing a new chapter. To celebrate the release of her new studio album “ICH LIEB MICH, ICH LIEB MICH NICHT”, the Hamburg-based artist is launching her own Fortnite island titled “Star Tycoon” – making both international pop and gaming stages her home.
In close collaboration between Sony Music Entertainment Germany and Standart Skill, one of Germany’s most well-known Fortnite creators, a unique gaming experience has been created that elevates Nina’s artistic signature to a whole new level. Following the album release a few days ago, the virtual world opens today for fans around the globe: a tropical island where Nina appears as a 3D version in Fortnite.
Gaming meets pop icon
The island is more than just a backdrop: it’s an interactive adventure that immerses players in Nina’s musical universe. Together with the virtual artist, fans collect fragments of her new song “Rage Girl” while simultaneously building a studio and stage – the same stage that will accompany Nina’s upcoming tour in full size. The highlight is a Fortnite-exclusive digital performance of “Rage Girl.”
“I’m super excited to have my own Fortnite island! I think it’s amazing how many of my features were integrated into the island, and I find the combination of gaming and music really fascinating. I’m really looking forward to playing the game myself and hope fans will enjoy it,” says Nina Chuba about the launch of her own Fortnite island.

More than fan service – a new entertainment format
But the experience goes far beyond music: rhythmic mini-games, hidden quests, and new content ensure that the in-game experience remains relevant not only for Nina’s fans but for the entire Fortnite community.
Philip Geißler (Standart Skill) sees an exciting trend: “It was an honor to work with Nina Chuba and Sony Music on this unique Fortnite island. Gaming and music merge here into an experience that’s never been seen before in Germany. We’re seeing creators, small studios, and games like Fortnite increasingly shaping the entertainment space, and I’m thrilled to be part of this development.”
Following in the footsteps of international superstars
Christoph Behm, CEO of Sony Music Entertainment GSA, adds: “Nina is known for her special connection with her huge fanbase. With her own Fortnite island, Nina Chuba now opens a new dimension of interaction – direct, playful, and right in the digital world of her community. At Sony Music, we’ve always relied on innovation as a driver for creativity and fan engagement – this project is a milestone not only for Nina but for the entire German music landscape.”
