‘SNAP’ by Rosa Linn certified Platinum in multiple countries

The 22-year-old musician, songwriter and producer Rosa Linn represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with her ballad ‘SNAP’ and ranked 20th. But the song gained momentum very quickly afterwards. With over 800 million streams, ‘SNAP’ is the most successful and most listened ESC song of the year. The song has been charting worldwide, with SNAP certified platinum in several European countries, including Italy and France, and most recently in Austria and platinum in Germany. Particularly noteworthy is the entry of ‘SNAP’ in the “Billboard Top 200”, where “Snap” is ranked 97th, this managed in the last decade only one other ESC song, “Arcade” by Duncan Laurence.

Spurred by a strong social media presence, the song quickly rose to a viral hit on TikTok and was used as the soundtrack for countless Instagram reels. On Spotify, the Columbia-signed artist currently has over 18 million monthly listeners, and ‘SNAP’ has been streamed around 650 million times in its original version alone.

With the goal of becoming Armenia’s first global music artist and first female music producer, Rosa, a native of the town of Vanadzor, sees great potential in Armenia. Her next single ‘Hallelujah‘ releases May 12. Furthermore, she is embarking on a major US tour opening for Ed Sheeran.
